ADDITIONAL INFORAMTION
Additional space is required to site the castles , normally a minimum of three feet to the entrance and five feet to the operational side , with an unobstructed working space to the other two sides.
All castles are secured insitu with strong large 16mm grade steel pegs.
All castles are supplied clean and routinely inspected.
All castles are annually saftey checked and inspected in addition to the regular housekeeping.
All electrics are PAT tested and supplied with external connections and run RCD (residual current devices) for the best possible safe working practice.
Terms and conditions and saftey instructions are supplied and it is reiterated that the hirer is responsible for supervision of the unit at all times and adherence with those terms of hire.

· Do you deliver, set-up, dismantle and collect the bouncy castles and inflatable slides?
Yes, and it's a complete service and any delivery cost will be made clear if it is relevant to your location.
· When are your bouncy castles and slides available?
Our bouncy castles and slides are available for hire seven days a week, all year round, including bank holidays.
· Is Jarrahbeau.Com a member of any recognized organizations?
Yes, we are members of the BIHA (British Inflatable Hirers Alliance)
· Do you hire bouncy castles and inflatable slides for events such as school fetes or fund-raising days?
Yes, we do please contact us for further details.
· Can you also supply trained staff to supervise the bouncy castle/slide?
Yes, but this has to be arranged in advance; please contact us with details so that we can give you a quote for providing this service.
· What about the weather?
If a light shower is forecast, as soon as it stops raining, give the bouncy castle a quick dry with a towel and carry on bouncing! We also offer a free of charge cancellation option in the event of bad weather. If it is very wet or windy and you no longer want the inflatable that you have booked, you can cancel the booking by telephoning us by 7:30am on the day of hire, and because we don't operate a deposit system on domestic rentals, you don't have to pay a penny! For safety reasons, we cannot allow a hire to proceed if there are high winds or heavy rain on the day of hire.
· When do you deliver?
We aim to deliver between 8:00am and 10:00am during busy summer periods we deliver on a geographical round basis. However, we try to be as flexible as possible so please ask at the time of booking if you need a specific time slot. We do of course give precise times if the hire is booked for an indoor venue, such as in community centers or village halls, or if the hire is for a school fete or fund-raising event.
· How long can I keep the bouncy castle/slide?
We normally deliver in the morning and collect in the evening but we try to be as flexible as possible so please ask at the time of booking. If you hire a bouncy castle or slide for only a few hours, such as for an indoor event or an after-school activity, the price will be the same because the same amount of work is involved for us. Our normal collection times are between 6:00pm - 8:00pm but this can vary depending on the time of year. Bouncy castles and slides must be well lit if used in the dark for safety reasons.
· Can I hire a bouncy castle/slide overnight?
Most of our bouncy castles and slides can be hired overnight for an additional 50% charge and a damage/cleaning deposit which will be refunded providing that the inflatable and equipment is in a satisfactory condition upon collection. This only applies to secure gardens, and you must accept full responsibility for the bouncy castle/slide and equipment.
· How late can I leave it to book?
During the summer months we are busy, particularly at weekends and bank holidays, so you are advised to book early to avoid disappointment. However, we will accept bookings as late as the week in question if availability matches your requirement, so it's always worth a phone call if you do make a last minute decision.
· How long do you need to set-up and take down a bouncy castle/slide?
Approximately 20 minutes, depending on access.
· Can I collect a bouncy castle/slide from you?
No, sorry, but for health and safety reasons we must deliver and install the inflatable.
· What preparation is needed before you arrive?
Our bouncy castles and slides are delivered on a sack trolley so we need adequate clear access for this (minimum width of 4ft). Please ensure that paths or access to your garden are free of obstacles. We will need access to an electricity power point within 20 meters (approx. 60 feet), or we can hire you a petrol generator. If our delivery staff have to wait while you clear access, prepare the site, or if the access/site is unsuitable, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
· What sort of surface do you need for the bouncy castle/slide?
Bouncy castles and slides situated outdoors need to be on a reasonably flat grassy area (slight slopes are ok) so that they can be staked down. The area needs to be completely free of any sharp stones, objects, dog mess or excessive mud. If our delivery staff have to wait while you clear access, prepare the site, or if the access/site is unsuitable, we reserve the right to amend delivery charge of your booking.
· Can your bouncy castles/slides be used indoors as well as outdoors?
Yes, we set up bouncy castles indoors for hires such in community centers and village halls. We provide sand bags in these situations to secure the units. You will need to check the height of the ceiling at your venue to ensure that the inflatable you have chosen will fit.
· Do I need to keep the blower running?
Yes, the blower must be running constantly whilst the bouncy castle or slide is in use. If there is a sudden change in weather and there are strong winds, just switch off the blower and let the unit deflate.
· How much does it cost in electricity to run a bouncy castle/slide?
It costs approximately £1 to run a bouncy castle or inflatable slide all day, with regards to payment for the supply of the castle we can accept cash cheque or credit/debit card, however card payments do carry a small admin fee.
· Can we move the bouncy castle/slide?
No, once the bouncy castle/slide has been delivered and installed and our staff have left, it must not be moved or re-positioned under any circumstances.
· How safe is it?
All of our bouncy castles and inflatable slides are regularly inspected and tested and have current safety certificates, which means that they fully comply with the latest HSE guidelines for Inflatable Play Equipment. All of our electrical equipment is also regularly inspected and tested, and have current PAT test certificates. The hirer is responsible for ensuring adult supervision of the unit and equipment and of people using it at all times.
· Do you supply safety instructions?
Yes, we provide detailed written safety instructions with every bouncy castle or inflatable slide, based on current guidelines issued by the HSE
· Do you supply safety mats?
Yes, we supply safety mats with every bouncy castle or inflatable slide which fully comply with current Health and Safety Regulations.
· Is there an age limit for children using the Bouncy slide?
Yes, all of our bouncy slides are suitable for children up to age 5, the junior castles to the age of 11, and the senior castles which are suitable for up to 14 years of age.
· Do you hire bouncy castles suitable for adults?
Yes, our gladiator inflatable and our party castle are suitable for adults, teenagers and children. other inflatables have their own recommended age limits as listed above.
